The phase one report confirms that there is interest in forming and delivering a co-housing project at Orchard Park, cambridge. The report confirms that a viable development with local constructors is possible.

A decision is expected from the City formally in the autumn.

The pilot project followed on from the succesful series of Green Business Breakfasts run in the winter.

The pilot project proved that the tool is robust enough for use across businesses irrelevant of size or sector. It is hoped that the project can be refined and adopted as a useful mechanism to engage businesses in the sustainability journey.

As part of a retrofit pilot project instigated by Hundred Houses Society in Cambridge, Instinctively Green and CAR Ltd prepared a bepoke engagement exercise. This involved engaging closely with the residents to understand their issues and concerns. These were captured and helped to for the brief for the professional team.

The project is now moving to the construction phase.

Results of a monitoring project will be fed back to Swan’s resident’s conference.

We carried out resident engagement work which has informed a professional team on the preferred affordable retrofit options.

We delivered the project with our partners Cambridge Architectural Research.

These events are proving very succesful and we will be piloting a new tool to help businesses understand how to start or improve their sustainability journey.
